9am AWST - 11am AEST on Zoom
First Session Friday 18 September, 2026
WHAT HAPPENS IN EACH SESSION
First 45 minutes: STRATEGY
Second 45 minutes: ACTION
You share what you are stuck on - together we work out why, and how to fix it. You don't need to keep trying to figure everything out on your own.
You actually start working on things - with Kate and Sam there to guide you so you can get things finished - not so you can just have more things to do in between sessions.

In Between Sessions: THE ROOM
The place you come to for feedback, support and connection with others inside The Engine Room.
You know what you should be doing. You never get to it, and you don't know where to start.
The offer you've been meaning to package properly.
The follow up you do from memory, never built
The sales page three-quarters written since March
The thing that would free six hours a week, if you had four to set it up
None of it is hard, exactly. It just never becomes today's problem. Today's problem is the client, the quote, the invoice, the inbox. The business needs you to run it, so you run it, and the work that would actually grow it slides to a quieter week that never comes.
Then twelve months pass and the business looks much the same. Busier, maybe. Not bigger.
That isn't a discipline problem. It's what happens to every owner-operator without a structure that protects the strategic work from the urgent work.
The power is made below deck.
Sam spent her early career in the navy and has run an Industrial service business for twenty two years since. Kate spent fifteen years as an engineer and has since helped hundreds of clients to start and grow thriving businesses. Between us, we have a fairly literal view of what makes things move.
On a ship, the engine room sits below the deck. Everything the ship does depends on what happens down there.
Businesses are the same. The website and the brand sit up top. What actually drives it is underneath: the offer, the pricing, the follow-up, the systems and processes. When a business stalls, the problem is almost always below deck.
And an engine responds when someone opens it up, finding the part that isn't turning, and fixing that one first.
That's what this room is. Twice a month, we get down there with you.

Is always feels like you are falling behind.
Ai and Automation. Everyone insists it's essential. Half your feed sounds like they've automated their whole business and you can't tell how much of that is true. So it sits on the list, vaguely, underneath everything else on the list.
You're not behind. There's no shortage of people telling you that you should use AI, and almost nobody showing you what to use it for in a business like yours, or how to set it up so it earns back the hour you'd spend.
Which is exactly the sort of thing that never gets done alone, and gets done in an afternoon with two people who use it every day sitting beside you.
Two sessions a month. Two halves each.
Ninety minutes, live on Zoom, with Kate and Sam in the room. The second half is the one most programs leave out.
First 45 Minutes
Work out what to do
You bring what's actually stuck this month, the real thing rather than a tidied-up version, and we work it live in front of the group.
Between the two of us we cover the whole business, so we can find where your problem is genuinely living. Which is often not where it looks like it's living.
Second 45 Minutes
Sit down and build it
You take what you just decided and start making it exist, with us in the room and breakout rooms whenever you need one of us to yourself.
Sam takes the systems, numbers, pricing, capacity. Kate takes the marketing, positioning, offers, words. Both of us take the AI.
Most programs give you the thinking and quietly assume you'll do the building alone at 9pm.
That assumption is where good businesses stall.
Join The Engine Room on the first and third Friday each month, and get your weekend back, stress free because you already took care of business.
The Thriving Business Wheel
Every business in the room gets held against the same map. We built it, and it's how we work.
It isn't a curriculum you get marched through. It's a diagnostic. Someone says "I can't get clients." That sounds like a marketing problem. Sometimes it's a pricing problem. Sometimes it's a capacity problem. One coach diagnoses through the single lens they own. Two can find where it really lives.
And then it tells you what comes first. Ten things need doing and they don't all matter equally this month. Building in the wrong order is the most expensive mistake an owner makes, and it's almost always invisible from the inside.

What's different six months from now?
We can't promise you a revenue figure, and we won't. Here's what will exist that doesn't exist today, because you'll have built it in the room.
All the things you punish yourself for — when there were never enough hours in the day to do them consistently - or at all.
And underneath it: you know which part of your business is the constraint, you know what you're doing about it, and two people know your business well enough that you never explain it from scratch again.
You'll still be in the hard part of building a business. That doesn't disappear, and anyone selling you its disappearance is selling you something. What changes is that you're moving through it deliberately instead of running to stand still.
This is the place you GET THINGS DONE!
Is this your room?
This is for you if
You've been in business a while and the thing works, you're just holding all of it
The strategic work never reaches the top of the list
You need time carved out and protected, and a room that expects something of you
You want to be told what's next and in what order, then helped to do it
You're a service-based owner or professional: consulting, allied health, therapy, coaching, professional services
This isn't for you if
You want it done for you. This is with you, not for you
You're looking for a fast answer. Building something that lasts takes years
You won't do the work between sessions. The room creates momentum, and you still have to turn up in it
Don't take our word for it

Thirty years of building businesses, between us.
We ran coaching programs for female founders across Australia together for four years, and created the Thriving Business Wheel because neither of us could give an owner the whole picture alone.

We also make it our business to stay at the front of what AI can actually do for a small business. In June we published AI Employees: The Setup Workbook, and the response told us what we suspected. People don't need more information about AI. They need someone beside them while they set it up for their own business.

Founding membership
Come along to our first session on Friday September 18, 2026 and decide if this is for you. Join by September 20, 2026 to lock in our Founding member price (and yes, you can cancel at any time).

JOIN US NOW TO LOCK IN THIS PRICE BECAUSE FROM SEPTEMBER 21, 2026 THE PRICE WILL BE $440 A MONTH FOR NEW MEMBERS.
Not ready to commit?
We get it. That is why you come as our guest for the first session, then you decide.
Our founding rate isn't a countdown gimmick. This room has no track record yet, and the people who join before it does are carrying that risk, so you get to keep our founding member rate permanently (as long as you maintain your membership).
We open the door first on purpose. A lot of trust has been spent in the coaching industry, and if you've handed over as much money as we have to someone who promised you more than they could deliver, you have every reason to be careful.
What we won't promise you
We can't promise you a number. Nobody who is honest can, because this takes two - us to guide and advise you, and you to do the work.
What we promise is that you won't be doing this alone, that you always know your nest step and the one after it, and that you'll leave every session having achieved something that you didn't have before.
Those are the promises we can keep. So they're the only ones we'll make.
